Here's a small sample of photos from a fantastic fishing season!

Year after year these folks come back to
fish in the wee hours.

And, they love those rainy days,
which offer some of the best fishing.

Half day trips yield up to a dozen 4-year Kings, averaging about 18# each.

BUT, there's more than just fishing and catching to fishing and catching—just look around!

In Fishtown, centennial shanties line the river's edge.

Heading to Manitou Islands

There is History:

This history of channels, passages, shoals, lightships and lighthouses is fascinating.

North Manitou Shoal Light (The Crib)

Encountering barges and freighters in the shipping channel is history in the making.

Manitou Passage

And, there is Quality:

It's the quality that counts! Fishing days are fun regardless of the weather or catches!

Since long time client Fred & his two buddies caught only 7 kings and 1 laker on this trip, he just had to come up with something.

Some customers have entirely too much fun!

But, there are great catches mixed in with all the fun... both in quality and in quantity.
