Fishing License

Each person age seventeen or older must have either a current Michigan Annual All-Species License, or a One-Day Michigan License.

If your charter is in the morning, please purchase your licenses the day before, as the Fishhook is not open before charters leave the dock.

If you have an afternoon trip scheduled, you may purchase a license at the Fishhook in Leland. In this case, be sure to give yourself plenty of time, as they are often quite busy.

A cold, rainy day catch

Clothing

Please wear closed shoes with a white, skid-proof sole.

Bring warm clothing and/or rain gear for those changeable weather days. Yes, we do fish in the rain, as fishing is very good then. We do not fish in lightning or nasty winds.

Food and Beverages

Beer is acceptable; however, the captain reserves the right to limit your drinking.

No liquor or drugs allowed.

For the sake of safety, please bring drinks in cans or plastic—NOT GLASS.
